MAKING YOUR CALLS
Hello Call Team!
“Thank you” for serving the Lord at this Encounter! Jeff and I are so excited for what God is doing in this ministry!!
Your Call Team leader is Natalie Bowen and she is amazing at leading this very important team.
Just a few friendly reminders to all Servers- If you have attendees coming and you know their contact(s), please give their contacts a heads up by letting them know to answer the call from a Call Teamer. This helps all of us for contacts to be expecting the call.
1. Please start calling as soon as you receive your list.
2. Please have all of your calls made ASAP to ensure contacts have time to write and send love letters.
3. Introduce yourself.
4. Inform contact that you’re calling on behalf of Encounter Ministry.
5. Say that you would like to talk privately about some surprises for their loved one that will be attending Encounter.
6. Discuss Love Letters
7. Discuss Welcome Home Celebration at local Encounter Life Campuses.
8. You may call 2nd contact or please inform 1st contact of any other contacts listed on your call list so that they can notify them to send letters also.
9. Remind contact to PRAY for their loved one now and throughout the weekend to come with an open heart & mind and receive.
10. Leave your name and number in case they have further questions.
If the contacts on your list won’t answer or return your call, text them something like the following example-
“Hello Tiffany! This is Jeff Brawley with Men's Encounter. I need to let you know about some surprises for Joell Calton that we need your help with. Please call me back at this number as soon as possible and at your convenience - 573-832-3322. Thank you!!”
After you have called contacts, send the text twice if needed. If still no response, contact Call Team Support at 573-832-3322.
Please call the 2nd contact about the surprises too, if there’s one listed. They may also be able to help you get a hold of the 1st contact if you’re having trouble.

LETTERS
1. Express the importance and impact that the surprise mail will have on their loved one and that we don’t want ANYONE to be without a love letter.
2. Love letter descriptions if needed: Encouragement, memory reminisce, personal reflection, etc
3. Encourage them to ask other friends & family to send love letters by the due date.
4. If they live out of state, please recommend mailing sooner if possible.
5. A lot of mail has been arriving too late, so please encourage contact to mail them on time
6. May include children’s letters, colored pictures, and photos.
7. No mail that requires a signature or boxed packages, because they don’t fit in our post office box. (Letters only, no packages or certified mail)
8. Mail letters by Deadline.
