Encounter LIFE
is an incredible way to be plugged into the ministry
and be encouraged in your walk with God!
If a Campus Location is not near you, Zoom Campus is a wonderful way to be connected!
But, if you are interested in opening a Campus in your town, here are some things to know:
who can be a CAMPUS leader?
Life Leaders need to have served at least one time before becoming a Life Leader. Additionally, Life Leaders are expected to be active in attending Encounter Ministry weekend events. (Life leaders typically serve at more EM events than they miss.)
how many LIFEleaders are at each location?
We encourage at least 2 men and 2 women so each has a partner and someone to come alongside them.
When are CAMPUS nights?
Monday, Tuesdays, and Thusdays are the nights available to hold Encounter Life.
Can Encounter Life be held every other week, or even monthly?
No. Encounter Life is held every week
(except for special circumstances such as, Christmas/Thanksgiving/VBS, etc.) It can be confusing for people to know which weeks you are meeting if it isn’t an every week meeting.

Where can ENCOUNTER LIFE be held?
Typically, Encounter Life Campus' are held in a church, but ultimately it needs to be in a location that can provide a few things including:
(1) a room that would hold the whole group (men/women/teens) to have
praise and worship together.
(2) A location that allows you to run media/sound equipment
(3) rooms that are available for multiple small groups to hold class.
(4) at least two spaces for childcare (nursery/elementary.)
*Campus locations are not held in people's homes.

is there a training to be a LIFE leader?
Yes! An online class through Zoom is offered in the spring and fall and is required to go through. Additionally, there is an annual Life Leader Meeting in person at Encounter Cove. This is typically the first Saturday of December each year. This meeting is mandatory to attend in person.
